If I weren’t trying to get in bed at 10pm so I can handle nighttime awakenings, I’d be checking out Duncan Sheik @ the Dame next Friday (just $15!).  I’m sure it will be a great show so I wanted to pass it along for anyone looking for something fun to do :)  -m-

book recommendations

Jo_gartin
mackenzie recommended Jo Gartin’s Weddings to me several months ago and I LOVE it…if you’re planning a wedding, I think this book is fab (and feel free to borrow my copy once I finish it).  -m-

p.s. another recent favorite is Simple Stunning Weddings

have you seen this new mag from Martha Stewart?  i know, she can be a bit…well, Martha :)   BUT, thought I’d give the free preview a chance because even if I’m not into making my own chandelier for Thanksgiving (remember that? I think it was 1996) her team comes up with some great ideas and I like their aesthetic (just add a couple more doses of ‘friendliness’ and it’s right on target).

and here’s a recent photo of the little darling that has me wondering if I’ll be reading much more than magazines (and parenting books) in the near future…no doubt she’s worth every little change in our lives.  -m-
