what a great session – lucie & her little brother alex gray were phenomenal.  and i’ll post a couple pics of lucie because they are some of my favorites from this month!  what a doll – look at her adorable hair!!  her mom, kelli, did the most fantastic job of picking out clothing – simple, classic but not so formal that they couldn’t sit, run around and play!  loved this dress!  -m-

p.s. i remember as a child wanting nothing more than a sibling…i was pretty jealous of all my friends who had someone to play with RIGHT IN THEIR VERY OWN HOUSE :)  for christmas one year, i remember keeping the wish list brief (my theory was that if there were just a couple options, i’d surely get what was on it) and ‘a little brother or sister’ topped the list.  (i’d be beside myself if A asked for that!)  matthew is 7 years younger than me, one of my very best friends and i’m looking forward to a lifetime more of friendship.

who knew it was national cookie month?  the kind folks at USA today have listed top spots to get great cookies around the country and even one in paris.  (yes, i’m putting the latter info with my passport RIGHT now!)  -m-

Ashley is THE cutest. Love her – so sweet, so genuine, so completely unaware of how stunning she is!  we had a terrific session and i’m in love with her proofs…great one after great one.  and she knew she’d want lots of prints of a particular shot so she ordered the digital file – so smart.  If you have a session and want to print buckets of 4x6s defininitely check out the digital file option on your proofing site.  with that file (i burn it to a CD or send it by email), you can print up to 8×10 (and I send you a written release for unlimited personal copies).  just a little something to keep in mind with those holiday cards coming up! 

so excited fall is here – i loved summer because i could eat breakfast outside with Audrey but i’m looking forward to discovering great new fall traditions, too.  and a little hello to all those awesome bridesmaids from our cleveland wedding last weekend – you guys were terrific and i’m blushing that you’re blog readers!  lisa & steele – hope you’re having a great time on your honeymoon!  -m-
