maegan & trent are THE cutest…loved maegan’s great scarf!  oh, and of course I loved the email she sent "I absolutely love the pictures!!!!!!!   They are soo wonderful!! I love, love, love, love, love, love them all!"

so here’s my life in a nutshell: i read endless books to Audrey, dote on my dashing husband (and try to talk him into more air travel than he prefers) & photograph the absolute best people on the planet.  after sessions, i work on the proofs (and get way too excited…so much so that i have to force myself not to call you on your cell to tell you how gorgeous you are and how i’m in love with your photos) and just HOPE that you love them as much as i do.  so when i get notes like maegan’s i melt because i’m so happy that she has this really incredible time recorded in a way she treasures.  -m-

does it feel like i have *any* restraint with photos of audrey on the blog?  i promise i do…here’s one from yesterday afternoon.  we got all the holiday things out over the weekend and i indulged in a little snowglobe gnawing for the sake of a cute photo!  -m-

introducing james owen…and somehow i have the feeling that this little guy is going to do extraordinary things.  in the meantime, he’s certainly making everyone around him very very happy (even audrey!  HE had a gift for her!  she’s been playing with her cute wooden stacker ever since – thanks, james owen!)!   -m-

p.s. his mom, joy robyn, is a favorite around here – if it gets any worse we’ll be sporting WWJRD (what would joy robyn do?) t-shirts because she is really THAT darling and i figure in most ANY situation, we can think of her and do it right and with lots and lots of style!

have a great thanksgiving!  we’ll be doing the same and mmp will be closed friday so emails/voicemails will be returned monday.   

i am soooo happy!  had an awesome weekend – it amazing how terrific a good meal with friends can be!  it’s so simple but it nets one super happy melanie :)  and my friend, susan, a mixed media artist put together such a terrific art show – it blew me away!

a great suite for the the nyc ‘cupcake tour’ in march has been reserved…so so looking forward to that.  and i’ve finally picked out new paint for the office thanks to beth…lots of good stuff going on.

freshened up the itunes playlist with some help from audrey – she sat on my desk and whatever she voted for (enthusiastic bouncing) made the cut so we’ll have some new stuff for the ears.  good thing she likes boys with guitars like me :)   -m-
