fave thing #42: boatman geller paper

185_1Boatman1Boatman1_2

Boatman2
yes, it’s so true…i have a thing for ‘paper’.  just thinking about a fresh box of correspondence cards from boatman geller makes me weak in the knees.  it’s like they crawled in my head and created exactly what i wanted to write on!  and i always find the perfect style for friends…like the ones with horses, those would be perfect for Melissa M.!  so go, get smitten yourself and let me know what you think…loved the tan damask, cherry blossom.  but there are so many other cute goodies like calling cards for kiddos and tags

more super great paper from minnie & emma (the bike is my fave):

shelley + alan

Shelley1
Shelley2Shelley3Shelley4Shelley5shelley is such a sweetheart…her smile is incredible and she was SO relaxed!  when something came up, she let mom (her matron of honor – isn’t that cool?) and sister (who is hilarious and it definitely shows in the photos) handle it and she kept on being ‘chill bride of the year’…I think everyone *intends* to be that way but it’s really a feat to pull it off as well as Shelley did! -m-

image notes:
1 – shoes!  loved this wallpaper in b&w but not so much in color…so it turned out perfectly!

2 – a detail of the cake

3 – i realized that i rarely post photos of the grooms (sorry about that!) so here’s one of Alan on the front steps of the church

4 – shelley & alan just before they entered the reception

5 – during their first dance…I love how ‘in love’ shelley is!

ta dah – new website for mmp!

Web1_1 Web2_2
of course, we had to unveil our new website on valentines day!  and it’s so cute i can barely stand it!  may i take you on a tour?  first, i love that the photos are the focus…big, clear…yay!  i had such an awesome time going though photos from the past few months to select these.  there are three galleries in the portfolio (i mention that just in case you overlook the menu that appears up top)…the last is a ‘featured wedding’.  and we’ve finally realized that the simplest way for you to schedule a session is for me to keep my availability on-line…pull out those snazzy pdas, take a look, and give me a ring about what’s good for you this spring!  Saturdays for weddings are up-to-date through the end of 2007 and I’ve got spots through June for portraits.  But always feel free to inquire if there’s a date you’re curious about for a portrait that isn’t listed…especially if it’s at least 4 weeks in advance.  there’s more fun to come on the site but it’s almost done and i was bursting to share!  -m-

p.s. and please spread the word to anyone you know who might be getting engaged soon…i would LOVE to photograph an engagement as it happens :)  i’ll be hidden while it takes place, taking photos from a distance (i promise not to use my newfound paparazzi skills unless comissioned!) then photograph the happy couple together after i get flagged over!  i love seeing the photos that couples take right after they’re engaged and want to make them even more special!  so grooms-to-be, give me a call…not only will your future fiance be thrilled with the proposal but you’ll have thoughtfully arranged to have it all recorded!
