reese + travis

Reese1
Reese2Reese3Reese4where do i begin?  i’ll stick to the images because I fear I’ll ramble on and on over my awe with Reese (okay, maybe I can’t stop myself!  she’s training for the olympics…the OLYMPICS!). -m- image notes:
1 – i have a blast with shoes…for me, it’s something I have time to generally ‘play’ with before the hustle and bustle of the day starts.  when I meet you on the wedding day, i always want to know where your shoes are because it’s the perfect thing to keep me occupied while you gather everything for dressing.

2 – this is a veil made from lace that her parents picked up in Belgium when Reese & her sister were little…does this give you an insight to their brilliance?  so smart!

3 – i picked this one just to show you how stunning, mom, margee, is…i love how you wear the experiences of your life a bit on your face and i feel like those eyes are happy!

4 – sweet travis! he wrote this note to reese and had it delivered once she arrived at the church…she rolled down the  window of the limo and I peeked my camera in to record the moment.

wedding details:
ceremony: St. Peter
reception: Spindletop (Terry, Pat, Billy Ray & Emily @ Spindletop are so fantastic!)
event design/flowers: Pat Prather @ Spindletop
cake: martine holzman
band: soul syndicate/clyde gilpin manager (this band kept everyone dancing!)

amazon wedding

Amazonhi there!!
came across this during the past week and thought it might be an idea to consider for all those registering in the coming months who already have their ‘everyday’-ware, towels and the bulk of traditional registry items.  and it’s accessible to anyone with a computer!  (I’m such a fan of on-line registries! it’s so nice to be able to preview a list before you head to the store!)  but definitely don’t bypass the awesome stuff at For Friends, LV Harkness & My Favorite Things! -m-

p.s. and brides to be, a product I wanted to pass along for a little bit – Origins ‘No puffery’ for your eyes!   put this on after the rehearsal if you’re up late visiting with friends!

h-u-g-e frame!

Pottery_barni was so excited to see this frame in a recent pb kids catalog…it’s rare to find great frames LARGE – it seems there are 10001 5×7, 8×10, 11×14 frames but bigger sizes are SO hard to come by!  can’t you imagine your cute kiddos’ faces in one of these? the fella on the right looks a bit surly but don’t let that stop you from imagining the perfect place for these in your home (open stairwell, playroom…).  and if you’re thinking of a spring session with mmp (and who isn’t right? wink) to fill these, let’s get in touch in the next couple of weeks…march is completely booked and prime dates in april are filling up, too.   so excited about the year 2007 is turning into and happy to be along the journey with you! -m-

new baby links:
tj & co – i see photo jewelry all over the place but i really like the understated-ness of these designs.  if you’d like to make these with mmp images, just say the word…always happy to help prep photos for cute projects like this.

wee citizens -  a smattering of great baby stuff from around the web

magic beans – more great baby stuff!

and this isn’t related to the previous links but HAD to pass it on – magnolia bakery cupcake recipe (yummm!)
