happy 4th
hello wonderful blog readers!
i’ve missed you while taking a little blog-writing vacation so we could do some sprucing up. do your eyes
like it?
i think this must be the best summer yet – this week i spent a few minutes planting a couple of the new ‘blushing bride’ hydrangeas (what could be more fitting for a wedding photographer?) outside and sitting on the front stoop with my dad who is in from dallas. it was a perfect evening.
today, I went to a handful of favorite places: joe-beth and got a great book for A, dudley’s for lunch, drove to see a potential land purchase for my dad (it was amazing!! i’m keeping my fingers crossed) and tonight i just finished reading ‘southern weddings’ by tara guerard – hands down my favorite wedding book this year. (i think ms. tara is a genius)
we’ve officially joining the ranks of gallery-wrapped canvas lovers…as a loyal customer of my own offerings, i had a canvas made of audrey and it’s fantastic! i love that the edges are finished and it doesn’t require any framing. and while canvases that had a thinner depth had been around for a while, it’s the 2.5 inch depth of this one that i really like. mandi m, if you’re reading this even while you’re out of the country, i think you’ll be smitten! (they’ll be on our price list as ‘georgia gallery wraps’)
have the most wonderful fourth of july! we’ll be hiking :) -m-
p.s. oh and yes, i think katie holmes new hair cut is darling.
new links i love: mod cottage, another beautiful bike; the cutest dog collars i’ve seen
