hello! melanie and cassidy are in NYC for a shoot, so i’m at the helm this week at mmp. i’m here to give my first entry on the mmp
blog (wish me luck!):

i feel so lucky to live in a town that has such great little
shoppes. on my days off there are a few
favorites i always like to visit:

•  Two Chicks & Co. on Southland drive has SUCH a mix of fun things, i almost never leave empty handed. i’ve gotten everything from great earrings to wall hangings there. and though i have no kiddos, their baby section is DIVINE. they have the cutest pair of green patent leather baby driving mocs i’ve almost bought a million times…but alas…no one to wear them…
  
• Worlds Apart Home on High St is another great stop for a variety of things. they’ve got furniture, pillows, scented candles, the works!
• all that shopping makes me hungry—better stop off at Belle’s on Ashland Ave for one of their life-changing Everything Brownies.

these merit badges (diapering, doctors visits, plane travel, eating out, etc) for moms totally crack me up and since i have a number of clients who have new additions to their family this month and in the coming months, these are for you :) via junior society (a wonderful blog of child related stuff) -m-

i’m absolutely in love with lexington – everyone is so committed to making it even better and For Friends is a great example.  during the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure on sept 29th, they invite you to be a part of their team and *match* your donation to the markey cancer center. 

you can sign-up online by selecting ‘join an existing team’ until sept 19th or in the store until sept 26th.  race packets will be available for pick-up at the store on sept 28th.
