beth + quin

Bethquin1vBethquin2vBethquin3vBethquin4hBethquin5v
quin’s parents commissioned me to photograph the rehearsal dinner and what a treat!  oh, to see beth and quin through all their eyes *and* to hear the most well prepared, heartfelt and eloquent speeches *ever* to be delivered at a rehearsal dinner (if you had scripted the perfect set of speeches, these would have been them!)!

beth is the sort that i imagine might have had fits choosing bridesmaids because literally everyone she meets is guaranteed to claim her as their best friend!  she is truly that nice, that thoughtful and nyc is all the better for having quin & beth there! (a look at their engagement session). -m-

image notes:
last image – i loved the mini treats that were passed around at the reception.  small is the new big, of course ;)

the wood’s

Lori1Lori23 little boys = 1 super high energy session :)  it was so fun to run around their gorgeous farm and mom, well mom, is amazing!  i love sessions at home for children because it adds another level of meaning to the images. the foot picture is exactly the sort of thing i think would be perfect for a huge gallery wrapped canvas in a child’s room. -m-

no dilly dallying, get those orders in

Chalkboard
just a heads up that we’ll be updating prices at the end of the year so you’ve got a month to get in orders at the soon to be ‘old’ rate.  so, get a little something to make those walls happy this season!

look at these great chalkboard panels!  i’m waiting to see if organize magazine comes up with something even more clever [like they always do] before i cover my surfaces :) at a minimum i could put one inside of a bottom cabinet door in the kitchen to keep audrey occupied while i bake.   -m-
