Snippet

i was so thrilled to see a photo of mine recently used by snippet & ink (a beyond wonderful wedding blog).  she builds ultra dreamy vision boards to articulate the mood for a wedding and the one i’m featured in has the loveliest browns and yellows.  i love these boards as a way to express the vibe of a wedding!

thank you, kathryn…the inclusion has me beaming! (my photo is the shot of carrie & barrett’s vintage car at the bottom) -m-

p.s. and tricia, i just saw your post…how nice!  (i should google my name more often!) i’m so looking forward to your shoppe opening this month!

Ms. Melanie Mauer sent us a lovely email right after the article in the Hamburg Journal was published. She is a photographer and her website pictures are absolutely gorgeous; you can find her at http://www.melaniemauer.com. The amazing thing about Melanie is that we have never met and she took time out of her day to send us the sweetest email, welcoming us to the wonderful group of “small business owners”. Anyone that would be as thoughtful as Melanie deserves to have tons of business, so please check her out.

the haye family

Katrina

one of my favorite images of the season…i think because it represents something every child this age seems fascinated with…bouncing on dad's tummy :)  oh, and because i'm hopelessly smitten with how this beautiful family has grown…i was there to see mom and dad wed, and some of you may recognize katrina from your wedding this year since i'm lucky enough to have her by my side for a handful of saturdays :)  as people, these two parents are gems…i love being in their company!  good as gold.  so when katrina mentioned she was planning a family session, my heart lept at the chance to see these three interact.  i love how they support each other…how they play…how they love.  -m-

we never know the love of our parents for us till we have become parents.  [ henry ward beecher ]
