i realize this is to illustrate the exterior colors but i’m liking the idea of a striped car :)  as long as i can get it as a hybrid.  i’m so into stripes.

silvia & lowell are the phenomenal family that annually have me come to chicago for their family images – not only is it a ton of fun to see them & catch up but it’s a delight to see javier as he’s growing.  he’s oh-so-cute!!  this time, i felt like i learned so much about them – silvia made a delicious peruvian dish and shared some of her inca kola stash (peru might be the only country where coca cola isn’t the #1 soda – peruvians prefer inca kola and frankly, so do i!) and i love talking about business with lowell.

i love looking through these images (i’m catching up with blogging the busy 2007!) of maria & dan – they are so incredible as a couple and it was so thoughtful of maria to take time out to have the pregnancy photographed.  when we talked a bit over the phone about what she’d like the mood to be, she said she wanted it to be evident how happy they were to have miriam join their family. (melanie is exhaling with a big awwwwh right now). 

the image of her and dan in the doorway is my favorite because it showcases maria’s smile and dan’s affection for her…what a sweet gift for a child – just a photo of the two of you right before they come showing how happy you are that they’re on their way :)  -m-

p.s. here’s a gift i’m thinking of getting jason for valentines day (when he puts his keys/pocket change in it after work and picks them up again in the morning he’ll see my message).
