happy happy new year!  here’s to making it extra-wonderful!  -m-

p.s. i have the black & white version of these candles but love these colored ones even better.

my christmas gift to myself, cute flip & tumble bags (they hold a ton and i keep one in my purse).

jamie + kevin

Jamiekevinto say i loved this wedding is a huge understatement. it was one of those weddings were everyone in attendance was swept up in the mood of love!  it permeated everything!  we had the best help ever on the wedding day – the planner had a ‘photo contact’ for us!  (needless to say, we felt pampered!)

the day was exquisite in every way – Mackenzie Spalding and her team at OFD were so ‘on it’, nothing had been overlooked and it really cemented the fact that I think ever bride should have a fairy wedding planner like her!  (It should just come as part of the blissful package of finding a great groom).  i think Jamie and Kevin were perfect at enjoying their day – you could see how excited they were to be married and spend time with their guests…it was sweet to hear the loving things they’d whisper to each other while we were making photographs.  one thing i really enjoyed was that jamie recreated an image that her mom had made on her wedding day…i love the idea of having these two images framed together or giving one on mother’s day or your parent’s anniversary mentioning how their love inspires you.

The bride and groom danced all night long and it was such a celebration!  jamie added extra coverage to the reception so we would be there till she left and I’m so happy she did – it gave me time to get so many fun shots at the reception and the tent looked completely different as the sun set and the luminaries began to glow.  i love weddings at home – it feels instantly personal and intimate.  just a peek inside an AMAZING wedding – with a bride as smart as she is beautiful, a groom that makes me smile just thinking about the moments when he took the stage at the reception, and the most darling matron of honor speech!

jamie & kevin here’s to you!!  thanks so much for letting me share your day with you! -m-
