which makes it even more fun…and man alive, he's quick!  he's such a sweet one – and oh-so fun loving!  love this shot with dad :)

i remember when
audrey was this age, jason and i were in the car after a trip somewhere and he
looked at me and glanced quickly in the rear view mirror and said "how can
something so little wear out two grown adults?".  the sweet work of parenting makes you savor
bedtime like never before :)

it’s supposed to be
the “big round numbered” years that seem extra special but this anniversary feels
the best so far.  i wonder if 11 years
ago, you saw us in our everyday life – laughing, happy, looking forward to
tomorrow…i sort of imagined it…except it’s even better.

cute turner was on the blog here but as i’m trying to catch up on blogging the busy fall and all the shoots, i had to pop in this outtake of his halloween costume…it was just on for a minute at the very end but it was the funnest part of the session.  i mean, how can you not giggle with a giraffe comes crawling after you? :)

i’m impressed with this lovely family to no end…their graciousness, their ease with expressing their affection towards one another…thank you, thank you over and over for letting me be part of the weddings, the celebrations and the milestones!  -m-

i had a super-fun portrait session with laura & david downtown and love how davy relaxed into her kiss as they sat down for a moment …their care for each other is so sweet.   laura makes me laugh out loud and davy was up for whatever the afternoon brought…love that combination!!  these are some of my favorites times, just getting to know a really great couple!
