found the cutest website and wanted to share…some inspiration for making your kiddos mid-day meals a bit cuter!

color inspiration for weddings & portrait sessions

i recently came across these cute color boards at the inspired bride and had to share!! What a great starting place for planning once you’ve decided on a location and it helps push you outside the standard color schemes that get lots of use.

find a favorite dreamy photo and then pull colors from that – so maybe it’s a work of art you’ve always loved, or something you see on flickr…either way, you’ll come up with a personalized departure from the typical.  often clients ask what to wear to sessions and using this tool can be a great way to build a look.

a few from inspired bride:

aren’t these dreamy?  have fun planning your gorgeous weddings and super fun photo sessions with a little infusion of color creativity :)  so excited for all the fun photo shoots this week!  warmly, -melanie-

beauty

i feel like my profession is partially described by this: “Life is full of beauty. Notice it.  Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces.”

so so hard to put together a collage of this wedding because there were too many shots that i loved!  the miles between us cannot dim the affection i have for this couple (and not just because she lets me know when gorgeous shoes are on sale).  anne prompted this twitter after a conversation we had – isn’t she brilliant!

special thanks to the following for adding their talent to the day:
