jennifer hung the moon – i held back squeals when on a recent shoot when i noticed we have the exact same japanese breadmaker (it’s the best and even has a timer so you can wake up to fresh bread!! we.use.it.all.the.time – when i travel, i miss it so much i set my bags down, and if the house is quiet and i’m the only one home, i go straight to work on making a loaf of whole wheat bread)

we’d both asked for them for our birthdays :)

and i’m convinced that at some point, a generous benefactor will mail us the deed to a whole cul-de-sac in the most darling neighborhood and you, me and jennifer will all live there in our respective houses happily ever after.  and we’ll eat far too many of her amazing cookies ;)

brothers in central park

imagine popping in a chocolate shoppe & superhero capes with the skyline in the back – oh what fun this session was!! but the one that gives me the biggest smile is this shot of them getting tangled up as they walk in central park :)  these boys know new york city better than most since they go 3 or 4 times a year…so glad i got to see them this time!

schools are wrapping up at different times but our last day is tomorrow – i made a ‘welcome summer’ basket today at lunch i’m excited to give her!  have a wonderful looong holiday weekend!

choosing happiness

so, i’m happy…i try to be cool and jaded but 2 seconds outside with the sunshine on my face i can’t keep up the act, i’m back to being me, happy.

this image reminds me of the happiness that resides within relationships – such a lovely session and a dear time to get to know these three (there’s a super cute dog named derby by jamie)!
