little boys baking are the finest thing

i’m not trying to make you crave chocolate…promise!  just wanted to pop in with an image i’m loving.

this fall has been filled with the sweetest sessions possible…like this one with a little guy who just had a little brother come home.  glad that when he’s grown and off to college, mom will have this shot to remember when he could fit on the countertop.

thank you for making our life and work so happy – thank you for the invitation into your home to collaborate on something beautiful and authentic.  we gush over you all day long in the office as we’re working on proofs, when incredible canvases and prints come in…i hear that heaven is pretty remarkable but i’ve got to say that life can be, too.  xoxo, -melanie-

p.s. it’s been fall-ish and rainy this week, so we made the yummiest vegetable soup…a total hit even in the kid corner.  and the leftovers for lunches have made me very happy!
