Windy Corner Market

If I were a restaurant, I would be Windy Corner!  Nestled amongst horse farms, chocolate chip bread pudding that makes your knees weak, a sidewalk with lavender on each side….ahh, lunch at it’s best!  And don’t forget to check out the shelves for local KY farmer goods.  (I also totally adore Ouida’s other restaurants – Holly Hill Inn & Wallace Station)

Pearl

A website for super stylish Lexington brides…we love this spot for exploring wedding professionals in our area.  We know what it’s like to wade through lists of people you don’t know trying to find someone talented…we can heartily recommend each member on this site.

Bella Bliss

We adore the owners and people who work at this great local clothing company & shoppe – hurrah for children’s clothes that haven’t been bedazzeled with sequins & glitter!  And the classic styling and construction are so well done that you have clothes you can tuck away for your childrens’ children and pull out again for them to wear.  (My mom did that with a handful of sentimental things and it meant so much.) – Be sure to sign up for their mailing list because they treat you well with all sorts of specials!

Horse farms

It’s an iconic part of our regional landscape for good reason!

Hot chocolate

Try the campfire cocoa at Coffee Times Coffee House at 2571 Regency Rd.  It’s a favorite after school date for Audrey and I on rainy days when we can’t stop at a park to chat about her day in kindergarten.
